Tomatenmarmelade mit Ingwer

  • 600 g Tomaten
  • 10-15 g Ingwer, gerieben
  • Saft einer halben Zitrone
  • 250 g Zucker

Die ungeschälten Tomaten kleinschneiden, den Ingwer kleinreiben und alles in einem Topf auf niederiger Stufe aufkochen lassen. Sobald die Tomaten wässrig erscheinen, den Topfinhalt mit einem Handmixer pürieren, Zucker und Zitronensaft hinzugeben, anschließend gut umrühren. Auf mittlerer Stufe ca. 30 min. weiter kochen lassen. Die Marmelade abkühlen lassen und in Gläser abfüllen.
