Kumquat Marmelade

 

 

  • 500 gr Kumquat
  • 1 EL geriebener Ingwer
  • 300 gr. Brauner Zucker,
  • Saft von 1/2 Zitrone
  • 1 TL Kardamom

Kumquat waschen, halbieren und entkernen.   Saft von 1/2 Zitrone auspressen.  Kumquats mit Zucker in einen Topf geben, 1 Stunde ziehen lassen.
Nach 1 Stunde  Zitronensaft geriebener Ingwer und Kardamom hinzufügen und unter rühren aufkochen (ca. 1 Stunde). Marmelade abschäumen und sofort in Gläser
füllen.
