Xu xu – Chayoten

4 Xu Xu
1 Camembert
1 EL Butter

Bechamelsoße:

1 EL Mehl
½ EL Butter
¼ Muskatnuß
250 ml Milch
Salz und Pfeffer

XuXus schälen, in zwei Hälften teilen, den Kern entfernen.

Butter schmelzen lassen und die XuXu Hälften von beiden Seiten leicht anbraten lassen (ca 15-20 Min).
In einem kleinen Topf Butter, Mehl und die geriebene Muskatnuß anschwitzen lassen. Mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken. Die Milch langsam unter umrühren dazu geben.

Sobald die Soße dickflüssig wird. Kann Sie über die XuXus gegeben werden.
Den Camenbert in lange Scheiben schneiden und die XuXus damit bedecken.
Anschließend auf niedrigster Stufe dünsten. Als Beilage empfehle ich Reis.
